Query within results

Once you have performed a query and returned a list of results, you can narrow your results by performing another query only upon the current result set. This is best used when you have a very large set of results. To perform a query within results:

  1. Select Query > Query Within Current Results from the menu. The default query window will display (this should be the same type of query you used to create the current set of results).
  2. Type in your new query. Obviously, do not use the same words or phrases as you used to generate the initial result list.
  3. Click OK. The results list will display as normal, and can be viewed, edited or worked with like any set of results.
